We provide individual therapy for adults, adolescents, and pre-teens using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. Our work draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also incorporating other well-established treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and trauma-focused therapies when indicated.
Treatment addresses a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, relationship difficulties, work and school challenges, life transitions, and general stress. We also support clients who experience impulsive or avoidant behaviors in response to intense emotional distress, including substance use or other behaviors that feel difficult to control.
With adolescents and pre-teens, therapy focuses on similar challenges while also addressing developmental concerns such as academic pressure, peer relationships, bullying, and family conflict. Treatment is collaborative and flexible, with goals and methods adapted over time to best support each client’s growth and well-being.
When symptoms are connected to past traumatic experiences, effective treatment requires a thoughtful and individualized approach. We provide evidence-based trauma-focused therapies for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET).
